This kill analysis is going to be special for a few reasons. One, this is the last of the Halloween franchise so we’re about to be looking at a ton of information. Two, this analysis we will be tracking multiple killers, something we haven’t done yet but will use a lot in the future (consider the Friday the 13th, Scream, and Saw franchises when I get to those). Three, this will be the official release of ScreamCulture. That’s right, I’ve done very little to raise exposure to the site, but with the release of this article we’ll be in full swing. I’ll be slowing down the content by a small amount (probably still several posts a week, but not 1-2 posts a day like I’ve done the last week and a half) that way I can spend some extra time doing some more much needed behind the scenes work. Without further ado though, lets get through this.
The Kills
Michael Myers
- Officer Doug Mulaney – Throat slit while being held by Corey. This is probably the first of many “wut” moments of this movie. I might have to couple this up with a review just to get it out of my system so I don’t ruin this analysis with annoyed rants. We’ll just say the 39% Rotten Tomato score is warranted.
- Nurse Deb – Stabs her Bob style.
- Corey – I’m almost not sure if I should count this because who knows how this franchise wants to go from here, but he looks pretty dead. Michael snaps his neck after Corey had already stabbed himself in it like an idiot.
Corey
- Jeremy – Knocked down 3 stories. Not really on purpose, but I’m still going to count it.
- Homeless guy (IMDb isn’t real helpful with names on this one unfortunately) – Stabbed to death.
- Dr. Mathis – Stabbed to death.
- Billy – Takes…something straight to the eye. It’s a stabbing either way.
- Stacy – Gets bludgeoned I think?
- Terry – Gets a blowtorch in the mouth. Gruesome and original. You have to give Corey credit there, he’s incredibly experimental.
- Margo – Runs her over with a tow truck then stomps her head in.
- Joan – Typical matricidal stabbing.
- Radio receptionist (c’mon, you can’t even give Darcy the mail girl’s character a name?) – Looks like she’s getting stabbed in the background.
- Willy the Kid – Killed with bare hands. It should be noted, this is one of the most gruesome kills in the franchise. If you’re a gore hound it’s almost worth the price of admission alone. Almost. Almost.
Conclusion
Michael Myers kills 3 people in Halloween Ends, while Corey kills 10. For the individual movie breakdown I’ll add Corey’s kills to the mix, but I’ll only be counting Michael Myers for the franchise totals. Unfortunately, that means Kills only pushes Mikey’s number up by 3. One disappointment after another.

Thanks for sticking around for the full kill analysis of the Halloween franchise. Each of these articles take about 45 minutes to write as well as about 90 minutes of researching other kill counts online and filtering out the information that is relevant to what I’m trying to calculate here, plus skimming through the actual film (I watched this one in particular twice now just so I had a good familiarity with the characters and when they died. Fortunately I knew the rest of the franchise well enough that I didn’t have to do a full viewing to get what I needed). Multiply that by 12 films and I’m fairly glad we’re done here. Future kill analysis will be a bit easier, as Halloween certainly has these quirky continuities. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has a similar issue, but I’m not sure if I’m going to break that one down quite as far. As mentioned, I’m also going to take the time and get some programming done to help me publish these a little faster as well as give you the viewer a better way to look at these charts. Until next time.
