The Kills
John Kramer (Jigsaw)
- Michael – KIAT – Michael is put into a trap where his head is in a contraption that closes like an iron maiden. He has 60 seconds to get the key to open the trap, unfortunately the key is revealed to be behind his right eye. Doable, but 60 seconds is NOT a lot of time. Trap closes, he gets a ton of holes in his head.
- 2 cops – Just like Sing in the last one, these guys are killed in a booby trap. There’s actually 3 cops here, but the one on top still seems to be moving so I’m assuming he makes it. The other two I’ll count as being electrocuted.
- Gus – This ‘trap’ is just stupid, and I don’t want to count it as a trap. Honestly, the chances that someone would actually be looking through that peep hole is so small, it shouldn’t have killed anyone. Of course I guess he needed to die because of plot stuff. I’m just going to count him as being shot because fuck this trap.
- Obi – KIAT – Judging by the fact that the glass at the end of the crematorium was so easy to break, I’d say that was the correct approach instead of going in the open door. The door shut behind him and he is cremated alive.
- Laura – Succumbs to the poison in the nerve gas house. Right after she points out that the kids dad got them all locked up. Good ‘ol plot stuff.
- Addison – KIAT – I’m not entirely sold on how this is supposed to be done without killing someone. Perhaps they were supposed to smash the box open with that nail embedded bat that is stuck in Jonas’s head? Either way she gets her wrists cut open from this box and bleeds out.
I almost want to count Xavier kills in this analysis considering he’s probably the second scariest secondary antagonist outside of Hoffman in these films. Of course he only technically kills one person, but still…dudes kinda nuts.
Conclusion
