The Kills
John Kramer (Jigsaw)
- Ashley – KIAT – The group of people have to have one person run, grab a key, and let everyone unlock the padlocks to the collars around their necks so they don’t get their necks pulled through a blade. Well, they didn’t do that and she demonstrated what the blades could do.
- Charles – KIAT – The remaining 4 have to smash jars to get keys to open up holes in the wall so they have sanctuary from the nail bombs going off. These holes are huge and they could have all probably fit into 1, 2 tops. Well, these are the dumbest characters in horror movie history so probably the most interesting character in the movie gets blown up here.
- Luba – KIAT – The idea behind this trap is for everyone to grab the electrodes and create a circuit, suffering a small shock and opening the next door. Again, dumb characters, they kill Luba (the hell kinda name is Luba?) and put all of the voltage in her dead body.
Mark Hoffman
- Seth Baxter – KIAT – He’s cut in half from an inescapable trap inspired from The Pit and the Pendulum. Really awesome kill for this franchise.
- Strahm – KIAT – Instead of doing what he’s told and jumping in the box full of glass, he pushes Hoffman into the box. The box goes down into the floor, the walls crash in and Strahm gets squished. I feel like I should make an Empire Strikes Back reference but it’s been done so many times already…
Conclusion
John Kramer kills 3 people in Saw V while Mark Hoffman kills 2 to a total of 5 kills.
